7 am: Shreveport Farmers Market @ Festival Plaza
The Shreveport Farmers' Market will offer locally-grown vegetables and fruits, locally-raised meats, fresh gulf shrimp, Longhorn beef, chickens, eggs, artisan sausage, freshly-roasted coffee, canned fruits and vegetables, jams and jellies, salsa's, granola, baked goods, soups, dips, herbs and herbal products, live plants, Louisiana wines, an array of other foods and crafts, and live music performances. The Tuesday afternoon markets will take place through July 28, from 3-6 p.m.

Community Input Meetings for the I-49 Inner City Connector Feasibility Study will provide the opportunity for residents to closely participate in the process of planning the roadway and will solicit their opinion of corridor options. The study focuses on the Allendale, Ledbetter Heights and downtown Shreveport areas for a possible Inner City Connector to connect the current I-49 with the future I-49 North corridor.
8 pm: Summer Band Concert Series @ Hargrove Amphitheatre
Centenary College's Big Jazz Band led by Bill Causey Jr. will perform live in concert. This event is free.

12 pm: Community Input Meeting @ artspace in the westedge
Community Input Meetings for the I-49 Inner City Connector Feasibility Study will provide the opportunity for residents to closely participate in the process of planning the roadway and will solicit their opinion of corridor options. The study focuses on the Allendale, Ledbetter Heights and downtown Shreveport areas for a possible Inner City Connector to connect the current I-49 with the future I-49 North corridor. Artspace is located at 710 Texas St.
12 pm: I've Just Been Diagnosed with Cancer @ WK Cancer Center
Workshop that provides cancer patients and their family with information about the Willis-Knighton Cancer Center, including treatment options and its numerous resources. Newly diagnosed patients will hear from other patients as well as healthcare professionals. Lunch will be provided. The event will be held inside the 4th floor Education Center.
