10 am: Shots for Tots @ Caddo Community Action Agency

Remember to bring your child's immunization records. This event will be at this location from 10 am to 1 pm. The CCAA is located at 4055 Saint Vincent Ave. There will also be a chance to get shots at Weed & Seed in Shreveport from 2:30 – 5 pm.



1 pm: Farmers' Market in Keithville @ Flashback Casino

3 pm: Youth Model Camp 2009 @ Airport Park Rec Center

SPAR and Total Package Management LLC offers a youth model camp for pre-teen and teenage girls, ages 12 to 18. Vendors will have available for sale fresh produce, eggs, honey, meat pies, tamales, jams and jellies, natual granola, bird houses, fresh plants, dog and cat treats, pickled vegetables, natural skin careproducts, monogrammed baby clothes, grass fed beed, cookies, breads, brownies, wood items and more. 9 am: Chimpanzee Discovery Day @ Eddie D. Jones Nature Park (Keithville)

Tour the sanctuary, observe the chimpanzees in their natural habitats and observe them during scheduled feeding times. There will be activities and educational opportunities for the entire family. The month of June, the theme will be a celebration of Father's Day. Guests are invited to wear their father's to the sanctuary to learn about Conan, baby Tracy's father, and the role that male chimpanzees play in their groups. Also bring donations of plastic mixing bowls, canned fruit, children's board books, long-handled stirring spoons, unopened boxes of trail mix, and tempera non-toxic paints. Hard plastic kiddie swimming pools will also be accepted. The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Department and Caddo Fire District 4 personnel will in give away coloring books and help make fingerprint ID's.

Shreveport-Bossier Astronomy Society Inc. will sponsor a public star party. The Moon, Mercury, and Saturn and its rings as well as numerous other star clusters, nebula, and galaxies will be visible. A Moon map and sky map will be given to all visitors. The observatory is located at Highway 175 in Shreveport.




9 pm: Capri Reunion Flashback @ The Capri Theater

Capri reunion party with cash bar and DJ Chuck. Admission is $10. The theater is located at 620 Milam St.




9:30 pm -- Salsa Lessons @ Nicky’s Mexican Restaurant
