WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 19th


3 pm: Willy Wonka JR @ CMM Performing Arts Center

This is the musical production of Roald Dahl's beloved story Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. This version combines the modern day Tim Burton movie starring Johnny Depp with the 1971 production starring Gene Wilder. Veruca Salt goes down the bad nut chute, but the Oompa-Loompas get to sing their Doompa Dee Doo songs. It will be held at Caddo Middle Magnet School and presented by the Theatre Arts II Class. Cost is $3 to $5. There is another performance on Thursday at 6:30 pm.




5:30 pm - 'Girl Talk' @ Querbes Park Rec Center

A twice monthly workshop for girls ages 10-18 and their parents, that will focus on and address topics which include positive self esteem, family values and the home, nutrition, hygiene and personal care, etiquette and attire. Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey presents BOOM A RING. The LSUS Department of Communications presents "The Clean House," by Sarah Ruhl, directed by Pruitt Taylor Vince. The story of a doctor's world turned upside down by the people closest to her.
